If we're honest, we tend to trust money and our understanding of it more than we trust God.

We want to trust God, but it can be difficult when bills need to be paid and income seems insufficient.  We know how the world works, and we can't grasp a reality in which money isn't exchanging hands.

But we don't need money; we need God.
