For the last two years Bella and I have been planning a kid's book that I would write and she would illustrate, and it's finally here! It was such a fun project to take on together.
Based on inspiration from the amazing Imago Dei Neighborhood School, "Tori the Tornado: Topples a Tower" follows Tori as she accidently upsets a friend with her energy, and learns restoration is more than just saying, "I'm sorry."
A simple social story, kids are drawn in by the cute characters and explore life applications through the "Questions for Kids" sections, while adults can grow as well through the "Concepts for adults" section!

This fall, my book "Something in the Froth" was accepted by a publishing company, and all that is left is securing the funding to move forward!
